Spearmint is an adult female Dogo Argentino mix who came to us as a stray alongside Peppermint, who we believe may be her daughter. While Peppermint is just beginning her journey, Spearmint carries the calm, soulful presence of a dog who has clearly loved and been loved before.<br/><br/>Spearmint is deeply people oriented and incredibly affectionate. Her favorite place in the world is right next to her humans, leaning in for attention or curling up for snuggles. Her cuddles are truly next level. She bonds quickly and loves being part of everyday life, happily following her people from room to room just to stay close.<br/><br/>She is dog friendly, wonderful with cats, and very gentle with people, including children. As she spends more time outside of the shelter environment, her joyful, loving personality continues to shine brighter every day.<br/><br/>Like many dogs who have spent time in the shelter, Spearmint is still decompressing and learning that the world can be safe and predictable again. She can feel unsure when meeting unfamiliar dogs at first and may need slow, thoughtful introductions while she builds confidence. With patience and structure, she continues to settle and show just how sweet and devoted she truly is.<br/><br/>Spearmint would thrive in a home where she can enjoy companionship, routine, and a calm environment. A fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus, but what she really wants most is simply to be near her people and feel secure.<br/><br/>This beautiful girl has so much love to give.
