Spartacus's Story

Meet Spartacus

Spartacus is a big dog with an even bigger heart! This handsome Great Pyrenees is a loyal, loving boy who has so much affection to give to his people.

Spartacus is already a very playful guy and absolutely loves spending time with his favorite humans. Fetch is one of his favorite games, and once he decides you’re his person, you’ll have a devoted best friend who wants nothing more than to be by your side.

He can be a little stand-offish and nervous around men at first, but give him some time, patience, and kindness, and he warms up beautifully. Once he trusts you, his sweet and loving personality really shines through. He is also very protective of the women he has bonded with at the shelter.

Because Spartacus likes having his people all to himself, he would do best in a single-dog, single-pet home where he can be the center of attention. His ideal family will understand that building trust takes a little time and will give him the patience and consistency he needs to feel safe and confident.

If you’re looking for a playful, loyal, protective, and incredibly loving companion who will become your devoted best friend, Spartacus could be the perfect match!
