Say hi to adorable Sparky! <br/>Sparky is about 1 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and weighs 16 lbs. He came from the high kill shelter in Lancaster, CA as a "stray" ( people will often bring in dogs and claim they "found" the dog, so they don't have to pay surrender fees). We are thinking his is a Skye Terrier mix, whatever he is, you have to agree he is incredibly cute! <br/><br/>But let's talk all about Sparky! He is so fun, sweet, funny, active and playful!<br/>He needs an active, mostly stay at home family, respectable older kids ok, a fully fenced ( at least 6' tall), large yard. He loves to go for daily walks- he needs this and lots of playtime throughout the day. He also loves to run and is fast! He might make a great running partner, as he is getting better walking on the leash.<br/><br/>Sparky gets along great with other dogs, in fact we want a home with another playful dog. He gets along ok with cats. He is being fostered with cats in the home, but each new place can vary, so this is said with caution.<br/>He is doing ok with his potty breaks and his new family will need to continue to praise him and give small treats to encourage him to keep going potty outside. <br/>He loves to play with fun toys and strong chew toys.<br/>He is a great little snuggler too! <br/>His coat is short/medium length and so soft. His cute little head is like soft down and the rest of his body is soft hair and he will need regular brushings along with grooming about every 8-10 weeks for nails and a groom. He sheds very little. <br/>He rides great in the car too! <br/><br/>Let's talk about his #1 trait. HAPPINESS! This little boy is just pure love and happiness. His tail wags and kisses are nonstop! He is just so happy and would love to share this with his special family and for them to return that love too!<br/><br/>In his pictures, you will see that most of the time, his adorable whispy ears are standing up, but sometimes, they lay down.
