A woman whose shop was on fire spotted the two puppies coming through the smoke and got them to safety. A veterinary technician then brought them to an animal clinic, where both girls were fully vetted and cared for. Despite her uncertain beginning, Sparky is one happy little girl! At about 4–6 months old and 25 pounds, Sparky is affectionate, energetic and eager to please. She’s a quick learner and especially motivated when treats are involved!<br/><br/>Sparky is also a wonderful car companion. Tell her “load up” and she happily jumps in. Once underway, she likes to be close to her people, often resting her head on the console to soak up a few pets. Give Sparky room to run and her personality really comes alive! She races across the field, leaps and twists through the air, zips around trees and comes flying back for a treat. With those long legs and her goofy running style, she’s hilarious to watch. She has a cuddly side, too. Sometimes a leash walk comes to a halt because Sparky has decided it’s time to flop over for a belly rub!<br/><br/>Sparky is crate trained, dog-friendly and loves people. Her house-training status is not yet known, and she has not been around cats. She’s still a young puppy with plenty to learn, but her eagerness to please and treat motivation should make continued training fun and rewarding.<br/><br/>After an uncertain start, Sparky is ready for a family who will give her the love, training and adventures she deserves.
