Sparkle is a tiny white terrier mix, possibly with poodle in her, giving her a low- to non-shedding coat and an irresistibly soft look. This little girl came to us from Fresno after a frightening start to life — she was nearly attacked by coyotes before a Good Samaritan stepped in and brought her safely to the Bay Area. Now Sparkle is safe, loved, and ready for her forever home.<br/><br/>Sparkle is about 4 months old and still very much a baby. She’s shy at first, but what she wants more than anything is gentle affection, reassurance, and to feel secure. Once she warms up, her sweet and loving personality shines through. She is exceptionally gentle, sensitive, and deeply affectionate.<br/><br/>She does wonderfully with other dogs and is even cat-friendly, often taking comfort in calm companions. Sparkle would do best with children past toddler age who understand how to be gentle with a tiny puppy. She has no formal training yet, so she’ll need a patient, committed home ready to guide her with kindness, consistency, and positive reinforcement.<br/><br/>Sparkle is expected to stay very small — likely around 11–14 pounds full grown (she’s currently only about 7 pounds). She’s smart, eager to bond, and with her non-shedding/low-shedding coat, will require light, regular grooming.<br/><br/>Despite her rough beginning, Sparkle is thriving in rescue and learning that the world can be a safe, loving place. We do keep applications on file for 90days in case the dog you apply for it already adopted or not the right fit simply email us to forward your application on to another dog of interest.<br/><br/>Our dogs are in foster homes all over the Bay Area and all adopters are required to travel to the foster home to meet. We do not have a facility.
