Soxy

Everyone welcome Soxy!! Soxy is a 2-year-old female Chihuahua mix who weighs about 8 pounds and was rescued from the San Bernardino Animal Shelter. What do we know about Soxy? She is a miracle dog! She was rescued the day she was scheduled to be put to sleep due to a broken hip which just needed crate rest. It was later discovered (while under anesthesia getting spayed) that she had a collapsed lung due to a hernia in her diaphragm. She is now a healthy, confident, energetic pup! Soxy LOVES walks, hikes, and is learning to walk on a leash. She LOVES to run and enjoys going on car rides. She is shy and is currently being taken to dog parks to get her used to people, kids, and other dogs. We are recommending a home with children over the age of 13. She is kennel trained, and knows to get in when it's bedtime. She'll go lay inside the kennel when she's wants a nap, too. She knows basic obedience like come and stop, and she is potty trained. Soxy is a sweetheart and seeks affection. She can be vocal (especially when it is dinner time), but knows to quiet down when told to. She has been fully vetted including spay, Diaphragmatic Hernia repair, vaccinations, bloodwork, dewormed, and microchipped.
