Soul's Story

Woof, woof! I'm Soul, a 6 year old red Labrador. I weigh 56 lbs and am ready to find my furever home.

With a name like Soul and a sweet white face, you might think I’m wise beyond my years… but my story is just beginning after being rescued from a breeding farm. My foster family calls me Little Bear because I have the cutest teddy bear face. From the moment I stepped off the transport van, I’ve been nothing but a happy, tail-wagging bundle of affection. Stranger danger? Not this girl. I love people so much…almost as much as I love food.

I won’t be signing up for any agility courses anytime soon—but don’t let my white fur fool you. My foster mom says I’m a very busy bear. I love walks, zoomies in the yard, a short game of fetch, and spend most of my outdoor time happily following you around and shamelessly begging for belly rubs. I’m what they call a shadow dog—where you go, I go.

I sleep in bed with my foster parents at night (I love a good snuggle) but I’m a good girl in my crate when they leave in the daytime. Even though I spent the first six years of my life in a barn, I’m catching on quickly to this whole house-dog thing. I’m potty trained, know basic commands like sit, down, and stay. I still pull on my leash a little so we’re working on that and “drop it” because my foster mom says socks are not the same as my soft toys.

My foster mom says my personality is fun and silly. I love to play, but after a long walk, I’m content to curl up at your feet and take a nap. I just like being part of the pack.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
