Souix & Yuki's Story

These 2 beautiful 8 year old girls are bonded and need to stay together. They are currently located in El Paso, Tx. Sioux & Yuki are incredibly sweet and love everyone -kids, adults, dogs! They were previously owned by an older couple and came to our rescue after the wife passed away while the husband was in assisted living. The girls spent weeks alone in the home, only being visited once a day to be fed. While they are housebroken, they were left with no other choice but to potty in the home because there was no one there to let them outside. Start 2026 off right by giving a new forever home to these sweet, beautiful girls!

Red River Old English Sheepdog Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

The first step in adoption is to go to our website and fill out the adoption application. After your application is approved, and a dog is found to be a good fit, we will do a phone interview. After the phone interview, we schedule a home visit which can be done in person if there is someone available in their area or through Facetime if they have an iphone, or Google duo if they have an android. After the home visit is complete we will email the adoption paperwork. They sign the adoption papers, pay the adoption fee, which is done on our website through the donation app. After everything is done they are able to go and pick up their new sheepdog.
