What is Ozark Homeward Bound’s adoption process?

Please email us regarding the dog who interests you. You'll be sent our nonbinding application and one of our Board members will telephone you.  You'll also be put in touch with the dog's foster family.  All pets listed have been "fixed," fully vaccinated, examined and treated as necessary for parasites and/or other health issues.  When you adopt, you'll be given all health records for your pet since he/she has been in our care.  Commercial ground transport is included in our out-of-state adoption fees.  There are no hidden charges.  Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt. We do not operate a shelter.  All available dogs are in private volunteer foster homes for evaluation and socialization ~ they are not "warehoused."  We need and welcome more dedicated volunteers from Boone, Carroll, Marion and Baxter Counties in Northwest Arkansas.  If you're interested, please email us!
