Sophie (In Foster)

🐾 MEET SOPHIE -- A TRUE SOUTHERN LADY LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME! 👑💕

My name is Sophie, and I am a beautiful 5-year-old Goldendoodle who is ready to discover what it means to be truly loved and spoiled!

I was rescued after ending up in a municipal shelter following a very difficult chapter in my life. I came from a backyard breeding situation where I was a wonderful mommy dog. When ARNO rescued me, I was stressed and had lost quite a bit of weight. With all my beautiful fur, it was hard to see just how thin I really was at 50 pounds. I am still underweight and now need a loving family who will help me get healthy, strong, and feeling like the princess I truly am. 👑

I am currently in foster with several other dogs, and my foster family says I am the most laid-back dog they have ever met! 🥰 I am wonderful with my canine friends and have such a gentle, easygoing personality.

And let me tell you about my house manners... I am ULTRA housebroken! 🏆

When I was at the shelter, even when they closed for the night and returned the next morning, my kennel was always perfectly clean. I wouldn't even go potty in the outside run! I am a proper lady and waited until I was taken out for my walk. 💕🐾

I already know sit, down, and paw, and I am fully vetted and heartworm negative.

My foster family says I am truly the best dog ever. ❤️ Now all I need is a family who will treat me like the princess I am and show me how wonderful life can be.

Could Sophie be your perfect girl? 👑🐶

📧 For more information about Sophie, email:
adopt@animalrescueneworleans.org

Please share Sophie's story and help this sweet girl find the loving forever home she deserves! ❤️

#ARNORescue #AdoptSophie #AdoptDontShop #Goldendoodle #RescueDog #RescueDogOfTheDay #ForeverHome #ARNO #NewOrleansRescue #RescueKrewe________________________________________________

If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.

**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment only after your application is approved.
