Meet Sweet Sophie!<br/><br/>Looking for a little lovebug to fill your home with joy? Meet Sophie! This tiny sweetheart is a 12-year-old, 9-pound senior gal who's ready to find her forever family. We think she's a Maltese / Westie mix and the best part is, she doesn't shed!<br/><br/>Sophie is a calm, gentle soul who is happiest when she's close to her person. She loves to follow you from room to room and curl up next to you on the couch. Her favorite pastime is playing with her "babies"—especially squeaky toys! She'll happily entertain herself throughout the day when she's not getting cuddles.<br/> <br/>What Sophie's looking for in a home:<br/>• A calm dog companion: Sophie does well with her foster siblings and would be a great fit for a home with another calm dog. If there isn't another dog, she would love to have a person who is home often.<br/>• Walks and outdoor access: She enjoys short, leisurely walks and would do well in a home with a doggy door. If there's no doggy door, she'll need potty breaks every 2-3 hours. She's a good girl, but she isn't a fan of potty pads.<br/>• Couch and bed access: Sophie loves being on the couch with you and would probably love to sleep in your bed! Since she can't jump, she'll need some help getting up on the furniture. She also does just fine sleeping in her own bed on the floor.<br/>• Lots of love: She just wants to be loved and will give you all of her affection in return.<br/>• Sophie is looking for a home without cats or young children.<br/><br/>Sophie is a brave and resilient girl who recently underwent surgery to remove some masses. Given her age and a challenging recovery, we chose not to put her through a second surgery. The nature of her remaining masses is unknown. We are looking for an adopter who understands her past medical journey and is committed to showering her with love, care, and a peaceful life.<br/> <br/>Adoption Information<br/>Sophie is already spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations.
