Sophie is a beautiful 6–8-year-old husky girl with the sweetest laid-back personality. She’s the kind of dog that just wants to be part of the crew, whether that means hanging out with her people, playing with her dog friends, or relaxing nearby on her favorite dog bed after sneaking in a few cuddles first.<br/><br/>Sophie is wonderful with other dogs of all sizes and genders. She’s playful, social, and truly a little social butterfly. She also previously lived with two children under the age of 10 and did great with them. However, Sophie is not cat friendly.<br/><br/>This big lovable girl may not always realize her size right away, but she has a very gentle nature. She absolutely loves belly rubs, rough pets, kiddie pools, and spending time outdoors. One fun fact about Sophie — despite being a husky, she has never seen snow before because she originally came from Nevada!<br/><br/>Sophie is house trained and does not require a crate. She does very well free roaming or gated in a room while her people are away. She also has quite the personality and can almost say “I love you” when she talks to you! She already knows sit, lay down, and high five.<br/><br/>Because Sophie’s previous owners surrendered her due to her tendency to run, she will require a secure fenced yard and an adopter who understands the husky breed and their adventurous nature.<br/><br/>Her perfect home would be one where she can go on walks, explore outside, spend time with her people, and simply be included in everyday life.
