Let's start with my back story: I was living in a single wide trailer, in less than desirable conditions, with about 6 other Terrier type dogs. We lived there by ourselves, with a man coming daily to throw food to us. Thankfully, we ended up at the local county shelter, which was scary, but they were so good to us! All my friends were put up for adoption, but I was kind of a tough nut to crack, so Animal Control asked my Foster Mom if she could take me in and help me acclimate to real life. If she hadn't taken me, I would have been put on that, you know, that list that no dog wants to be on! Thankfully, my Mom has worked with me, and I am getting so good at being picked up, and I let her cut my nails. Mom thinks I am a Yorkie Chinese Crested mix, at about 3 years old, 10 pounds, had my vaccines, heart worm negative and micro chipped. I just need to get spayed, which is now set for January 29, 2026. The Vet we are using is booked out that far! I am a shy girl, but once you pick me up, I just melt into your arms. I do like to run and hide just yet, so I will need a fenced yard, or to never be off leash outside of fenced yard!<br/>My crate is always dry and I like to hide at the back of it, and make myself small. Now after reading this, you see I am adorable and petite, but also still unsure of life, so I need an owner who understands I need a calm, quiet home, patience, love and to be held!
