SOPHIE's Story

Sophie and two of her siblings came to us after being dumped at a very busy shelter. The girls were all terrified and ultra-wary of humans. They were temporarily fostered together, just to get them out of the shelter. Although they act quite unsocialized, one sister has been adopted and is coming out of her shell quite nicely! We have heard that a fourth sister, who was adopted directly from the shelter, is also doing very well. Therefore, we believe the two remaining girls will follow suit! They are fearful, but not aggressive. They should be wonderful canine companions once in individual foster or adoptive homes.

The girls are about one year old, maybe less, and are on the petite side at approximately 55 lbs. They should fill out a bit more, but probably won't be much over 60/65 lbs.

Currently, the girls are in Oroville, California.
