Meet Sophie!!<br/><br/>This lovely little lady was found wandering the streets. She was chipped, but her current owner was not caring for her properly (just keeping her in a small cage in the backyard) and said he didn't want her anymore. Fortunately, she was found by a dog trainer, so now whoever adopts her will have the honor of owning one of the most well behaved dogs in the neighborhood! Sophie has never met human she didn't like, and she's good with other dogs (She's currently living with 5 others). She can be a bit dominant with other dogs, so she will not be placed with another female, although a male dog would be ok depending on personality. She's learning to get along with cats - if the cat doesn't run she's already okay with it, she's still learning not to chase when they're running. She would be a great exercise partner as she has the physique of a runner. She absolutely needs a yard - no apartments. The training Sophie has received is valued at $1000. Adoption fee is $150 and includes 1 lesson to learn to work with her. Sophie must be placed within 5 hours of Houston, as a home check is required.
