Sophie is a beautiful purebred tricolor Mini Australian Shepherd with the softest eyes and the gentlest soul. She came to us from a rural Indiana shelter where she was completely shut down and overwhelmed. Because of that start, Sophie takes a little time to feel safe—but once she does, her true personality begins to shine.<br/>Patience with Sophie is always rewarded. When she warms up, you’ll be treated to the most heart-melting butt wiggles (that classic fluffy Aussie enthusiasm!), quiet affection, and a loyal presence by your side. She’s shy with people at first but incredibly gentle and sweet, never pushy, and very in tune with her environment.<br/>Sophie is great with other dogs and would love a confident canine companion to help her continue building confidence. She’s crate trained, housebroken, and walks nicely on a leash. She has a docked tail, is spayed, and is fully up to date on vaccinations.<br/>Sophie is looking for a calm, patient home that will let her move at her own pace and show her that the world can be kind.
