Meet Sophie<br/><br/>Sophie might just be one of the cutest little puppies we’ve ever seen — and her story started with us before she was even born.<br/><br/>Her mama came to Underdog from a Fresno-area shelter while pregnant and on the euthanasia list simply because she was expecting puppies. We got her to safety just in time, because only four days later, Sophie and her siblings made their grand entrance into the world.<br/><br/>Now 712 weeks old, Sophie is a happy, fun-loving little girl packed with puppy energy, curiosity, and plenty of spunk. She loves to play, explore, and soak up everything happening around her.<br/><br/>We estimate she may grow to around 15–20 pounds, but with rescue puppies, that’s always our best guess!<br/><br/>Sophie is still a complete baby. She has no real training yet, which means her future family gets the fun — and work — of starting from scratch with potty training, leash skills, manners, and continued socialization.<br/><br/>We’re looking for a home that understands the commitment that comes with raising a young puppy. Her ideal family will have:<br/><br/>- A house with a secure backyard<br/>- A flexible work/life schedule with plenty of time for a baby puppy<br/>- Ideally another friendly dog to help her learn and grow<br/>- A commitment to training, socialization, and helping her become the best little dog she can be<br/>- Lots of patience, time, and love<br/><br/>Sophie will be ready to head to her forever home in just a few weeks.
