MEET SOPHIA - Sophia is an adorable Senior lady looking for her forever people. Sophia has been at the Rescue since May of 2025. This is our first time listing her for adoption. Sophia is in good overall health, though she is hearing and sight impaired. She can see to run outside and play, she still has good energy. When I call her, she can’t hear me. If I pick her up and she doesn’t see me first, she gets startled, that’s how I know she doesn’t hear well. She is a sweetheart and still likes to play some. We believe Sophia is a Kokoni dog, that breed is not listed as an options on the adoption site. An internet image search states long hair chihuahua and possibly papillon which also tracks. It also says possibly Kokoni, not many people are familiar with the Kokoni dog, they are a popular breed from Greece. <br/>Sophia would make a great companion for someone who enjoys a more chill senior dog.
