Magnificent “SONYA” is a purebred 1.5 year old Akita who adores people and is looking for an adoptive family to call her own. She was found as a stray in rural south Georgia. After looking for her owner for weeks, no one was found. She is dog selective and the good samaritans that took her in have some doggy family members that just are not getting along. ?Sonya is spayed, heartworm negative and up-to-date on her shots. She is very friendly and great with people! She knows some basic commands and is very attentive. We do not know about kids or cats. She is friendly with some of the dogs she is with but of course a slow introduction is necessary. She’s a beautiful girl! She would need a family who understands the Akita breed and a fenced in yard. We would love to find her fairy tale ending!<br/><br/>*** All of our Wigglers are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, hw tested/treated, and on preventatives. Most of our adoptable dogs need fenced in yards or an exercise regimen. We require proof spanning 2 consistent years of HW preventatives for already owned pets, UTD on shots, and spay/neuter in order to adopt. Please read their description above closely.
