Sonoma 's Story

Meet Sonoma! Sonoma is a 2-month-old, 16 lbs female Golden Retriever. Sonoma is a happy pup who just wants to love and be loved. She came to us due to having a heart murmur. Our friends at Purdue have diagnosed her with moderate subaortic stenosis with concurrent mitral valve dysplasia and mild mitral regurgitation. Sonoma is currently on heart medication that will likely be a lifelong need. She will need a repeat echo in 6 months to monitor for any changes or progression. <br/><br/>The adoption fee is $450. This includes the spay, microchip, wellness bloodwork, fecal flotation, deworming and all core vaccines through puppyhood (as long as you return to us for vaccines).<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting Sonoma, please e-mail adoptions@thelovepetproject.org with "Sonoma" in the subject.
