Say Hello to Sonny! Sonny is a strikingly handsome big boy with an even bigger heart! He is as sweet as they come and will absolutely melt you with his big brown eyes. It's amazing how quickly Sonny has settled into retirement, especially since his last race at Derby was only a few weeks ago. Sonny loves attention, comes when called and has excellent house manners. He sleeps through the night, walks beautifully on his leash and gets along well with other dogs and cats. He happily greets anyone who comes through the door, and is very exuberant with his tail wagging. He is a very smart and confident boy. Sonny is a "collector". He likes to "steal" anything soft and takes it to his bed. He doesn't chew the items, just collects and lays with them. Fuzzy slippers are Sonny's favorite! In fact, when his Foster Mom says "Sonny, where are my slippers" he gives a guilty "I-don't-know-avoid-eye-contact-at-all-costs" look. He is too funny!<br/><br/>Sonny will make a great pet and will bring years of joy to any forever family who is lucky enough to adopt him.
