Sonny's Story

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT MASSPAWS

Hi! Im Sonny! I have a sunny personality to go along with my playful spirit! Im about 1- to 2- years old and somewhere between medium and large size. As an orphan, Im currently a resident of Milford Animal Control in MA. I appreciate the roof over my head, but I am very lonesome.

In anticipation of your questions, please review my resume for the position of Companion Dog:

Education
Zilch! But I just started weekly classes! I also have friends to subsidize my training when I find the right adopter. I am highly treat-motivated and ready for a Ph.D (Polite Honorable Dog).

Skill Set:
Very friendly and excited to interact with people.
Team player under smart and thoughtful supervisors.
Willing to go the extra mile for pets, scratchies, and affection.
Punctual for important meetings such as lunch breaks.
Will keep staff in shape by walking them daily.

Life Experience:
I spent lots of time in a crate and was severely neglected.
I relish food with gusto because I never knew when the next meal would come.
I was previously skin and bones, but Im gaining weight and growing muscles.
I dont know my exact age because nobody ever told me my birthday, and I never had a cake (just sayin).

Hopes and Dreams:
I just love being with people but its hard to contain my thrill during the occasional times Im let out of the kennel. Id love any kind of adventure and exercise. I would love to play with other dogs, but their eyes bug out when they see my hyper energy! Once I know how the heck Im supposed to act, I know Ill have friends!

I wish for a patient family and a person to join me in professional dog school with a kind trainer. Id love to learn all the things great dogs should know. ld like a slow feeder bowl and other fun food games. I am not aggressive at all, but since Im a little wild right now, I should not live with young children. No cats. I doubt theyd appreciate my joie de vivre!

References
Please contact Officer Haynes at khaynes@milfordma.gov or 774-462-3315 and tell him Animal Rescue Konnection (ARK) sent you. Thank you for sharing my resume.
