Sonny He Is! <br/><br/>A cheerful pup who loves everybody – person or dog - that he meets, Sonny is a Shiatzu mix, 11 & ½ years old. Though diabetic, at 15 pounds this lively pup is in great health. His diabetes meds are given twice a day via shots which he accepts calmly. Sunny is housebroken and adjusted to his current household (including a new baby) routine right away. He likes to play with toys and other dogs, but is happiest curled up next to you. Sonny currently “goes to work” at a pet clinic with his foster mom but can also be left alone for a few hours. He’s good with dogs and babies. I’m not sure about older kids but I think he’d be ok. He’s not good around cats, likes to chase them. He is house trained but does need to go out more often while we get his diabetes under control. He’s a total sweetie and loves to snuggle on the couch! He does well in a crate overnight but will bark if left in the crate during the day.
