Sonic's Story

<p>Sonic is a 9 month old male lab mix. Sonic is soft and sweet, when he arrived we could tell he was hit by hand often, as he bowed down to hands in fear, he is coming out of that with each loving pet! He is ready to be the best boy he can be! He likes to give kisses now, and tail is wagging instead of tucked!</p> Our adoption hours are Tuesday-Friday 3-6PM and 1-5PM on the weekends. We are located in Burlington, Iowa. All dog adoptions include a health exam, Rabies, DHPP and Distemper vaccinations, Heartworm check, Sterilization and post surgical pain medication and microchip and registration. All cat adoptions include A health check up, FELV and FiV screening, FVRCP and rabies vaccinations, sterilization with pain medications and microchip and registration. Des Moines County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

IMPORTANT: All inquiries MUST be made by calling the shelter directly. Please do not respond to our ads on Petfinder.com. Our phone number is 319.753.8389. Adoption hours: Tues-Fri from 3-6pm and from 1-5 on the weekends. We are closed on Mondays. Applications are on our website at desmoinescountyhumanesociety.org under Adopt, then chose dog or cat application and fill it out. If more than one application is received on an animal, the best home for that animal is chosen based on numerous criteria.
