Sonic's Story

Sonic is a bright, adventurous 5‐month‐old poodle/lab mix with sleek black fur and a touch of wiry texture that gives him a unique, expressive look. He currently weighs about 28 lbs and is expected to grow into a medium dog around 50 lbs.

Sonic is naturally curious and eager to explore, but he's also still developing his confidence. With new people, he may hesitate for a moment before deciding to approach -- but he does go to greet them, and he warms up quickly once he feels safe. His blend of puppy enthusiasm and gentle caution makes him both endearing and easy to work with.

He's food‐motivated and smart, picking up new routines quickly. Sonic is learning crate training and can sleep through the night, though he's still working on full housebreaking like any young pup. He's also just beginning to learn how to walk on a leash and is progressing well with patient guidance.

Sonic currently does not chase cats and seems comfortable around people of all ages. His affectionate nature, playful energy, and growing confidence make him a wonderful match for a family who enjoys an active, engaging companion and can continue helping him blossom.

If you're looking for a sweet, lively pup who brings joy, curiosity, and love into the home, Sonic may be the perfect addition to your family.
