He's affectionate, playful, and happiest when he's with his people. In fact, Sonic's preferred distance from you is approximately zero inches. If you're going somewhere, he'd like to come too. If you're sitting down, he'd like to be involved. If you're alone in the bathroom, well... clearly you need company.<br/><br/>Sonic loves exploring outside and is always happy to accept a treat, but nothing beats being with his favorite humans. He's a true Velcro dog who wants to be part of whatever you're doing. He may bark for a bit when you leave, but he settles down quickly and can handle some alone time.<br/><br/>He's housebroken, although he currently has a little marking habit that should improve with neutering. He's also great with other small dogs and would enjoy having a little canine buddy. Cats, however, are not his preferred roommates, so he's looking for a feline-free home.<br/><br/>Sonic can be a little nervous when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, so children 5+ would be best. Once he's comfortable, though, his youthful side comes out—and sometimes that means mouthy puppy antics when he's excited. He's still a young guy, after all!<br/><br/>He's also ready to work on his resume. A family willing to spend some time teaching basic obedience and household manners will help Sonic become the very best version of himself.
