And that bond runs deep. <br/><br/>Sonar aims to please and lights up when he gets it right.<br/><br/> He's already crate trained, sits politely for his meals and to greet people (no jumping here! and he's currently working on learning "down." He picks things up fast when you're patient and consistent with him — hand signals and light cues work beautifully for a pup like him, and he's even learned to recall off-leash this way, staying close and checking in with his people. <br/><br/> He's a natural on the farm— he's been thriving with the work and responsibility, and he genuinely loves being outdoors, whether that's a good walk, exploring nose-first, or just soaking up space to roam. He's also great with kids and gets along well with other dogs, making him an easy fit for a busy household.<br/><br/>Sweet, affectionate, and eager to be near his favorite humans, Sonar just wants a soft place to land and someone willing to learn his language the way he's learned to adapt to the world. <br/><br/>Sonar would do best with:<br/><br/> An adopter with experience or genuine interest in deaf/low-vision dog communication (hand signals, vibration cues, light cues, touch)<br/><br/> A home with kids and/or other dogs — he does great with both<br/><br/> A farm, acreage, or active household where he can be outdoors and keep working/playing <br/><br/> A patient, consistent training approach — he's clearly capable and willing to learn <br/><br/>He's not asking for pity — he's asking for a chance.<br/><br/> Give Sonar a home, and he'll give you everything he's got. <br/><br/>Get you application in for this sweet boy!<br/><br/>https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application<br/><br/> <br/><br/>There are some additional fees: $20 microchip transfer fee to register and transfer him to his new furever family.
