Rambunctious, playful, and full of joyful energy, Solomon keeps everyone smiling with his goofy antics and infectious zest for life. Solomon thrives on activity and engagement and will do best with a family ready to match his enthusiasm. He enjoys a balanced routine that includes 1–3 hours of physical activity each day, spread across walks, play sessions, and interactive games. After a fun-filled day, Solomon is more than happy to switch gears—his cuddly side comes out, and he’ll gladly curl up for snuggles and a well-earned nap. He’s already doing great with the basics: Solomon rides well in the car, walks nicely on leash, and is comfortable in his crate. He’s been a true gentleman indoors with no accidents, and he loves classic dog activities like fetch, romping around the yard, and soaking up attention from his people. Solomon is very comfortable being touched and handled and enjoys affection all over. Grooming tasks like brushing, ear cleaning, and nail trims are no problem for him. He’s friendly and social with both familiar faces and new people, showing no noticeable differences with men, women, or older children. While he hasn’t spent time with kids under 10 yet, he could do well with children who can help reinforce training—especially reminders not to jump when he’s excited. With other dogs, Solomon is friendly and playful, though he can be overly enthusiastic and is still learning when to take breaks during play. He has shown some humping behavior with a smaller male dog, which can improve with continued training and guidance. He has not been tested with cats but has remained calm and appropriate when passing them on walks. Solomon has shown no possessiveness over food or toys. Like many young dogs, Solomon’s biggest challenge is a short attention span. The good news? He’s very food motivated, a quick learner, and responds best to positive reinforcement when training sessions are kept short, fun, and consistent. Above all, Solomon is a joyful, loving dog who truly wants to belong.
