Solo's Story

Pop Up Promo! ACC is over capacity, so I'm currently living in a pop up crate. My adoption fee is waived, and my adoption comes with a $50 Chewy gift card.

Meet Solo!Solo may have a name that suggests independence, but this sweet girl is looking for someone to share her next chapter with. She was surrendered when her owner could no longer care for her, and in her previous home she enjoyed daily walks, did well in her crate, and was comfortable with all kinds of everyday handling. She's a medium-energy pup who enjoys exploring and is ready to find her new favorite person.

My Ideal HomeSolo would love a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace and enjoy a nice balance of walks, enrichment, and cozy downtime. Her previous family reported that she can become anxious when left alone, so her new people should be prepared to help her feel comfortable with alone time using patience and positive reinforcement. She'd make a lovely companion for someone who enjoys having a sweet pup by their side.

Good with Other Pets?Solo's history with other dogs is still unclear, and she wasn't able to complete a proper dog introduction. Her new family should take introductions slowly and give her plenty of time to get comfortable before expecting her to make new four-legged friends.

Good with Kids?Solo would do best with older, dog-savvy children who understand how to give her space and listen to her signals. She can be sensitive when she's uncomfortable, so calm and respectful interactions will help her feel safe and confident.

Things to KnowSolo is a lovely walker who previously enjoyed one to two walks a day with little to mild pulling, and she does well in a crate. She's generally comfortable with handling, but her ears have been sensitive and she has let people know when that area is uncomfortable, so she'll need gentle handling while her medical needs are addressed. Give Solo time, respect her boundaries, and let her come to you, and you'll be well on your way to becoming her favorite person.
Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 52lbs Age: 5yrs 0mths 1wks Animal has been Spayed
