Soleil's Story

Soleil (so-lay) came to us when her family had to relocate and could not take her and her sister with them. The two of them celebrate their 1st birthday the day after Christmas!

They've previously spent most of their lives outside, and are currently in a foster home learning how great it is to be an indoor dog. Perfecting house training is still a work in progress, but she will happily go outside anytime! She is learning to use the dog door.

In her foster home with other dogs and gets along with them great! She also lives with cats and is learning how to coexist with them. She previously lived in a home with kids and loves them.

While huskies are often known as being aloof and independent, Soleil is curious, very friendly, and LOVES to cuddle. She does struggle with alone time and will voice her husky feelings, so would probably not be a good fit for an apartment because of this. She would do best with a securely fenced yard with at least 6' fencing.

If you're looking for a gorgeous, sweet, snuggly companion - consider Soleil! We think she would do with best with another playful, confident dog companion in her forever home. She LOVES to play and run, and would make a great hiking buddy.

Please note: Soleil is not yet spayed but will be before her adoption can be finalized.
