Solara's Story

Meet Solara!

True to her sunshine inspired name, Solara radiates warmth, joy and happy energy wherever she goes! This 2 year old Catahoula mix has already proven herself to be a superstar mom. She raised nine incredible puppies who’ve all found their forever homes and now it’s her turn to shine. Solara’s the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. She loves romping around with other dogs her size and has a rough and tumble play style that keeps things lively. She’s also cat friendly with proper introductions. Her enthusiasm can be a little much at first, but once the excitement fades, she settles right in. This sweet girl is crate trained, house trained, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Solara is ready to pack her bags and head home! She’s still young at heart, learning her leash manners and working on perfecting her routine, but her eagerness to please makes her a fast learner. Solara would thrive in an active home with plenty of playtime, adventure and love. She is still a bit of a big, bouncy “puppy” at 55 pounds, so a home without small children would be best. Whether she’s playing in a fenced yard or joining you on walks, she’s always up for fun and affection.

If you’re looking for a happy, loving companion who’s as bright as her name, Solara is ready to bring the sunshine to your home!

#DoggoneHappyAnimalRescue
