Solace's Story

Hi… my name is Solace. 🤍
DOB 1-1-24. Bulldog mix. Quiet heart.
I’m a shy girl, so I might not run up to you right away. I’ve spent my whole life outside… after being dumped, I just kind of existed. Different houses would feed me sometimes. I learned to move along, not stay too long, not expect too much. I never really had a place that was mine.
I’ve never had a family to call my own.
I’m dog friendly — other dogs make me feel a little braver. I’m kennel trained, and I actually like having a cozy little space that feels safe. Walking on a leash is still new to me. No one ever taught me how before. I’m trying though. I promise I’m trying.
I don’t need loud or fancy.
I don’t need perfect.
I just need patient.
I need someone who understands that love might look like sitting quietly beside me at first. That trust is something I’m learning, step by step. That when I finally lean into you… it means everything.
I’ve lived my whole life without belonging anywhere. I think I’m ready to know what that feels like.
A soft bed that’s always there.
A yard I don’t have to leave.
A family that says, “She’s ours.”
I don’t want to wander anymore. I want to be someone’s girl.
Will you let me stay? 🤍🐾
She will be available for adoption after Monday.
