At 11 years old, this lovely senior girl has come to us after being surrendered by a breeder and is now ready to enjoy the comfort, love, and security she deserves. Sofia is quiet and easygoing, happiest when she’s curled up in her cozy dog bed or enjoying a good meal. She has a calm presence that makes her such a comforting companion.<br/><br/>Sofia does have a grade 5 out of 6 heart murmur. The good news is that she is currently asymptomatic and handled her recent spay and dental procedures without any issues. Our veterinarian recommends a cardiac workup and possibly medication in the future to help slow progression and keep her feeling her best for as long as possible.<br/><br/>Sofia could also benefit from shedding a little extra weight, and with a balanced diet and light activity, she’ll be feeling even better. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much—just a soft place to rest, a full bowl, and someone to love her.
