Socks's Story

Socks is a male rat terrier puppy. He is tri colored and so cute you want to just cuddle him all the time. He is just a baby, born June 8th. This guy was pretty well ignored his first several weeks at life so we are trying to make up for that the best we can. When we first saw him, he was being rehomed in the back of his former owner's car along with his siblings. He was extremely shy at first and did quite a bit of shaking but he has come a long way now. He is still shy with new people so he is going to require a very patient new owner and definitely someone committed to working with him and give him the time he needs to settle in. He is familiar with a crate and eats in one, but we try to keep him loose in the place most of the time. He is very small, about 5 pounds, so easily carried outside to do his business. He seems to have a very sweet disposition and gets along with our small personal dogs. He would not be suitable for a home with young children or large dogs. Sock is has had two puppy vaccinations and dewormed. His new owner will need to have a current or recent vet reference. Pic coming soon.
