Snowball's Story
Snowball is a lovely, 2 year old, six pound spirited little guy who craves affection in the house and is adventurous outdoors. While he might shy or nip at a hand coming at him at first, he has warmed up to the dogs and people in his foster home quite nicely.

We have a female lab and a neutered male Pomeranian who he gets on with now without issue. When he first arrived he was a bit overwhelmed as he had lived a sheltered life with a family that didn't take him out much and who had never had a dog before. He currently lives with a husband and wife team who had been allowing him to blossom in own time and space and it's working nicely for Snowball. There are no children or cats in the home, nor were there kids or cats in his original home.

He doesn’t require a great deal of exercise, his housetrained and fine when left alone. His current diet is gastro can. He is food motivated. He's been groomed and overall did well, just a few minor objections. Snow is ready to give and receive affection and attention.

He has the same gene as dogs like Chinese Crested,
Pomeranians are highly predisposed to a hereditary hair loss condition known as

Alopecia X

(often called "Black Skin Disease"). While the exact genetic trigger for Alopecia X is still being researched

, it heavily affects breeds with plush undercoats.
