Instead, he survived.<br/>Snow Bunny came into care in July 2025, one of 18 huskies rescued from a severe hoarding situation. When he arrived, he was incredibly sick, underweight, and fighting for his life.<br/>He was suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection — a condition that affects the lungs and airways, making it difficult to breathe, eat, and fight infection. In cases like his, it can become life-threatening very quickly.<br/>Snow Bunny was one of the worst cases.<br/>Veterinarians prepared for the possibility that he may not survive, and euthanasia was even recommended.<br/>But he was given a chance. <br/>For 7 months, Snow Bunny received intensive, dedicated care and rehabilitation:<br/>• Daily subcutaneous fluids<br/>• Plasma treatments/injections<br/>• Ongoing medical care and antibiotics<br/>• Carefully managed nutrition and weight gain support<br/>• Vitamins and immune support<br/>• Strength rebuilding and recovery<br/>• Patience, consistency, and unwavering commitment<br/>There were setbacks. There were hard days. But Snow Bunny kept fighting.<br/>And he made it. <br/>Today, he is healthy, strong, and thriving.
