Snow Belle's Story

Snow Belle is a Great Pyrenees. Family looking to rehome her due to health issues on their part.

Belle as she is affectionately called, is very people and other dog friendly. She lived with a Shih Tzu and did just fine. She is good on a leash, rides great in a car. She will as most Pyrenees do, wander off, so she requires a secure fenced yard.

No small prey animals, like cats and bunnies. She is used to living in the house and has never been a guardian dog, so she is a companion dog.

Questions email sharon@blackjackrescue.org

Please go to www.blackjackrescue.org and fill out an application under adopt menu. We have dogs placed in foster homes in many states including Indiana, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, and Connecticut. Our adoption fee helps to cover the costs associated with rescuing and vetting. Once your application is received, we will check references and call you to schedule a meet & greet or home visit. Depending on your location, the home visit may need to be completed by a rescue organization that is local to you. Once approved to adopt, pickup or third-party transport will be arranged for your new family member. It is our preference that you are able to personally meet the dog prior to adopting. We do not have a physical structure, but we have dedicated foster homes in many states. Please have your application completed in order to schedule the home visit or meet and greet.
