Snow's Story

Snow is an approx 3-4 year old Jindo mix, rescued from Korea. He currently weighs 47 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated and house trained. Snow is beautiful with a gentle and calm soul. Because of naturally shy and reserved personality, Snow may not be the right match for every household but for the right family, he will be an incredibly special companion.
Snow thrives in a quiet, predictable environment where he can feel safe and secure. We are hoping to find an adopter who has experience with shy or sensitive dogs and understands the patience, kindness and consistency needed to help him build confidence. Snow would do especially well in a home with another mellow and well balanced dog who can help him feel more comfortable. No small children would be best.
Snow is a very mellow dog who enjoys a single daily routine. He typically needs four potty breaks (including 2 potty walks morning and night) a day, and outside of his walks and mealtimes, he is perfectly happy relaxing at home, often spending his time peacefully watching squirrels through the window.
Despite his shy nature, Snow has made wonderful progress with training and trust. He responds remarkably well to gentle guidance and now allows his humans to trim his nails, brush his teeth (with a finger silicone brush) and give him baths. He truly is a very good boy, just a quiet, sensitive one who blossoms with kindness and patience.
With the right family, Snow will become a deeply loyal and loving companion.
