Snoopy's Story

~ FROM THE BRINK OF CRUELTY TO A CHANCE AT LOVE ~

A heartless man showed up one day in a neighborhood carrying a small box with four tiny puppies inside. He coldly threatened the people around that if no one took them, he would throw them into the river to be eaten by crocodiles. Heartbreakingly, he meant every word. They were malnourished, extremely skinny, and much too small for their age. Their bodies were dirty and covered in fleas, dehydrated, and infested with parasites. They were so weak and frail that it was clear they had suffered severe neglect, looking like they were moments away from giving up. The people knew they had no choice, and one kind soul took all four puppies in. Tragically, one of the little ones was already too weak to survive and passed away shortly after being rescued. But for the others, this was the first glimmer of hope they had ever known. The lady asked around for help and that was when Claudia stepped in and took them in. After a vet visit, and all tests and treatments very much needed were done, they got healthy and ready for a better future.

Snoopy looks like a Rhodesian Ridgeback Shepherd mix, is about 1.5 years old and weighs around 14.5 kilos.

Snoopy’s eyes now have grown bright with curiosity, and his spirit, once nearly broken, shines through. Snoopy is a happy, affectionate, yet a bit shy pup who deserves a forever family to love him as much as he loves life. He is playful, gentle, and full of gratitude for every meal, cuddle, and safe place to sleep. He loves humans of all ages and happily greets both men and women visiting the shelter with a wagging tail and a warm, gentle spirit. He is a joy to walk on a leash, calmly exploring the world and meeting other dogs along the way. Snoopy also enjoys hopping into the car for a little adventure—any excuse to spend time with his people! Loud noises like thunderstorms or fireworks don’t faze him one bit. He is past the puppy chewing stage and has mastered the art of balancing playtime with quiet moments of relaxation.
Snoopy already knows several commands, including “ven” (come), “sentado” (sit), and “no.” He’s smart, attentive, and eager to please. Whether you’re looking for the perfect only dog or a sweet companion for a lonely pup at home, Snoopy will fit right in and fill your life with love.

Snoopy’s adoption fee is $550, which includes his flight, neuter, vaccinations, and full vetting.
