Snoopy's Story
Meet Snoopy!
2-Year-Old • 15-Pound Puppy Mill Survivor

Snoopy may start out a little shy, but this boy has a playful, sweet personality just waiting to come out!

Snoopy and his brother Bentley originally came into rescue when they were just six months old after being born and raised in a puppy mill. They were adopted by a loving older couple who gave them the home and love they deserved. Sadly, their mom passed away suddenly, and their dad is now living with his daughter, bringing Snoopy and Bentley back into rescue at two years old and looking for their next forever home.

Snoopy is the more outgoing of the two and tends to warm up a little quicker. He can still be shy and unsure when first introduced to new people or a new environment, but give him a few days to settle in and you'll start seeing the real Snoopy emerge.

Once he feels comfortable, this 15-pound little guy trots around the yard, seeks out attention, enjoys affection, and starts showing you just how much personality he has! He's quiet, mild-mannered, and easygoing.

Snoopy does well with other dogs and cats. Calm dogs are perfectly fine, although loud or very barky dogs can be overwhelming while he's still building confidence. He's also learning to walk on a leash, something he didn't have much experience with before.

We think Snoopy could do well in a variety of homes. He just needs someone who understands that first impressions aren't always the real dog. Give him a little time, patience, and love, and you're going to discover a sweet, playful boy who is ready to enjoy life and soak up all the attention he can get.

As with all of our adoptable dogs, Snoopy will go home with a collar, leash, toy, and two bowls, along with his current food. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and medical care. His adoption fee is $600, which is tax-deductible and helps us continue rescuing dogs in need.

If you're looking for a sweet little boy who just needs a little time to come out of his shell, Snoopy might be your guy!
