Snoopy's Story

Meet Snoopy
Age: ~1 year
Neutered Male
Tulsa, Ok

Snoopy has things to say. Many things. He will share them with you, vocally, in a very husky-adjacent way, at various points throughout the day. This is simply who he is.

He's also the annoying little brother. The one who wants to play when you don't want to play. The one who doesn't quite get it when the older dog gives him a look. His husky foster sister plays with him constantly - and he needs a home with a dog who will do the same, because that energy has to go somewhere.

Here's the other side of Snoopy: once he decides you're safe, he is your shadow. Belly rubs are his love language. He goes to the back door when he needs out, goes into his crate on command (treat required, non-negotiable), and has a bedtime routine he manages himself - he will remind you when it's time to go outside and get his Dentastix. He calls them brushing his teefers. We find this charming.

He knows sit, is working on down and catching, and is picking things up quickly when cheese or banana is involved. He needs supervision when loose - cords and house shoes are not safe when he's bored - but in a home with structure, engagement, and a playmate, he absolutely thrives.

One thing every adopter needs to know: Snoopy has a history of anaphylaxis. The trigger is unknown and unfortunately cannot be identified through testing. No ongoing issues have been reported, but his adopter needs to be aware and prepared.

Snoopy needs an active home with another playful dog, someone who will keep up his training, and a person who doesn't mind a little - okay, a lot - of commentary on their daily life.

Apply to adopt: https://oklahomagsr.org/application
