I’m a middle-aged gal with a big heart and a little extra to love! I came to the shelter as an owner surrender because my family could no longer care for me. When I arrived, I weighed 120 lbs, but I’ve been working hard on my health and have already made some amazing progress—I’m now down to 88 lbs! That’s 32 lbs lost, and I’m doing so good!<br/><br/>I’m good on a leash and housetrained, and I previously lived with small dogs. I can be shy when I first meet people and may need some time to warm up, but once I trust you, I become your shadow. I’ve even learned again how to play with the people I trust, and it’s been so sweet watching my personality come out!<br/><br/>I’m looking for someone who will continue supporting me on my weight-loss journey while giving me the patience and love I need to feel comfortable. I may take a little time to open up, but once I do, you’ll have a loyal, playful girl who just wants to be by your side.
