Hello, my name is Snickerdoodle and I am a pure breed mini Dachshund. Yes, I am a little guy because I weigh 7 lbs. I am 12 years young but make no mistake, I am a very active guy and love to play. I miss my mommy. We were together for 12 wonderful years and she spoiled me and I loved to sit on her lap. She petted me and scratched my tummy. I licked her hand so she knew that I was happy. I stayed with her until one day she was not there anymore. I know she went to heaven and I know that she is happy. Can you please send her a letter telling her that I love her and miss her? You see, I didn't learn to write.
I went to her daughter but the family was too busy for me and I ended up in a kennel at a shelter. I didn't like it because I am a good boy so I've never been inside a kennel.
One day, my Treasured Animal Rescue angel saw me and told me to pack up my bags because I was coming with her! It didn't take me much time because I didn't have time to pack all my toys with me when I was dropped of at the animal shelter.
I went to the doctor and I had to have most my teeth extracted but my foster mom says that I look very cute because my tongue hangs out a bit. Don't worry, I eat just fine and I am healthy now. I love to play with other dogs, cats and kids but kids need to be careful because I am a little guy so I can be hurt easily. I am a gentleman so I am house trained and I don't bark much. My foster mom makes fun of me because I wiggle my butt and my tail is always wiggling because I am a happy guy.
Do you want to meet me? You will fall in love with me when you meet me and I promise I will be by your side the rest of my life.
