This handsome 1.5-year-old Staffie mix weighs 46 lbs and is neutered, vaccinated, and fully up to date on his preventative care. Snicker is the kind of dog who seems to make everyone fall in love with him wherever he goes—even at the vet! He’s sweet, affectionate, curious, and eager to please, with a big personality and an even bigger heart.<br/><br/>Snicker is a playful, high-energy guy who absolutely loves toys, being chased, wrestling around on the floor, and having fun with his people. He’s also a total cuddle bug and a true Velcro dog who would happily stay right by your side. He’s fully potty and crate trained, does well in the car and on stairs, and walks nicely on leash, usually staying beside or just ahead of his person.<br/><br/>Snicker loves other dogs and would do very well with a playful canine companion. He has enjoyed playing with dogs in the 20–40 lb range and would thrive with a dog who enjoys wrestling and romping as much as he does. He can get very excited when he sees dogs while on leash and may pull or whine because he desperately wants to say hello to everyone! He’ll also need continued guidance learning when his playmate is ready to take a break.<br/><br/>Snicker is wonderful with children and enjoys people of all ages. He can be a little protective of his home and may bark at people he doesn’t know, especially if someone enters while he’s crated—he takes his job as home security seriously! With patience and continued training, he’ll keep learning that not every new person needs to be announced. He has shown no signs of food aggression or resource guarding, although he is happy to “help” himself to another dog’s leftovers if they abandon their bowl!<br/><br/>Snicker would do best in a moderately active home that can give him plenty of playtime, affection, structure, and continued training. He’ll benefit from working on polite leash greetings, staying calm when passing other dogs, quiet behavior around unfamiliar people while crated, and learning when it’s time to stop playing. In return, you’ll get a loving, goofy, playful companion who genuinely wants to please his people.<br/><br/>Snicker is truly one of those dogs who is just incredibly easy to love. He’s sweet, well-mannered, affectionate, and full of personality, and everyone who meets him seems to become a fan.
