Snapchat's Story
This guy was left as a stray in DACC. He was estimated to be around 2 years in age, but his activity level makes our staff think he is younger. He is over 1 year probably. He is currently 80+ pounds and seems to still be growing. He is very happy, very friendly and meets some dogs well. Because of his intensity at first and his size, a slow and proper introduction needs to be done. We have no other history on him.

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at no additional cost.
No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend bringing any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.
Want to Know if I’m Still Available?
Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability.
