Snap's Story

Snap is an 18-week-old Shiba Inu who is learning what life outside of a kennel looks like. He came to the shelter after his breeder was unable to place him, so everything from leashes to new environments is still very new. Snap tends to be quiet and cautious, preferring to observe before jumping in. He does well around other dogs and often feels more comfortable when he has a canine friend nearby. We are working with him on leash walking and potty training, and he’s making slow but steady progress. Snap is current on vaccines and will be neutered prior to adoption. He currently weighs 13.1pounds. He’s looking for a patient home that will let him build confidence at his own pace.
