Smudge

Smudge is approximately 3.5 years, around 20 pounds, neutered, fully vaccinated mix breed. He will be crate trained but needs patience with potty & leash training~ soon he will be a pro of all three!! <br/><br/>He is affectionate, playful but can be a bit nervous when first met with unexpected changes. Smudge gets along well with most dogs (but we suggest he be paired with a female companion), adults and older children alike. Given his adaptability, he should be able to learn your family’s routine rather quickly and become part of the gang in no time!!!<br/><br/>Smudge was rescued from the fields of Tecate where he lived most of his life but he was left in a cage in the middle of the street. When found He suffered from distemper and Anaplasmosis. Fortunately he is now healthy & flourishing under the loving care of a foster. (June 2025)<br/><br/>Smudge has a lot of love to give and longs for a family who can provide him patience, affection and attention he craves. He deserves a warm and loving home where he can feel cherished as a member of the family!!!
