S'MORES's Story

Meet S'mores:

This adorable boy is a little quiet at first but, will get going when playing. Brings him instantly out of his shell! He's tends to be more of a follower and likes to be engaged with others. On the calmer side and ready to learn. He is very smart. That little brain always at work. Prefers squeaky toys. The best fit for some SMores would be a home with another dog. He has no sight. Please see below the details. This does not hold him back in the slightest! His other senses are in the lead in our large and in charge! Have they been born this way he knows no difference so he gets around and a long and leads life to the fullest with no problem. Do not let this deter you. He is fantastic and such a joy.

(The puppies were born with Microphthalmia: SMores has no vision. It is a congenital condition meaning "small eye," often caused by genetics or developmental issues in the womb. Affected eyes are underdeveloped and may sink into the socket, leading to vision impairment. They have varied degrees of sight. They are fine, no pain, and it cannot be fixed. They have adapted well by relying on their senses of smell and hearing. It does not hinder them.)
