Smoky

Smoky can't wait to jump into your heart... While we mean that figuratively, he does know how to jump and will jump or climb over the fence every chance he gets! This lab/pit/pug/chihuahua mix is 2.5 years old, weighs 31 lbs, and was surrendered to us due to his former owners being unable to afford a taller fence. They tell us he's a great dog and that they've tried everything, including an invisible fence, chicken wire, a lead, and nothing has worked. We're hoping his neuter surgery will help a bit, but we'd still recommend having a fenced-in yard! He's playful, curious, social, active, and very friendly. Smoky has lived with a large and a small dog, and done great with both! He loves kids and did very well with their baby! He enjoys pets, tug-o-war, cuddling, roughhousing, and running at large! He's both house and kennel-trained, and will bark when he needs to be let outside! He reportedly DOES NOT do well with cats! If you have a tall fence, come visit Smoky today! ...
