Smokie

Smokie is a gsd, husky, malamute, cattle dog who has spent most of his life growing up in rescue. He is about 4 years old now and looking for a special person. Sadly, this boy was not able to be socialized during this time so he has grown up being leery of people. Smokie is afraid of men and after many meet & greets it would be best he goes to a female only home. He loves to play fetch, has good house manners and is kennel trained. He loves car rides and quiet walks. Smokie has seen cats and was not reactive. He has not lived with them, but we think he would be ok with time and training. Smokie can be timid when outside of home, meeting people or being in active places. We are asking for a quiet home in an area with not a lot of traffic or noise. Please no children under 16. Because he loves to run, jump and play, his own fenced backyard is a must. Smokies people will need to have some patience and time to work with him on his social skills.
